Strategic Development Residency with Luka Frelih

Zavod Rizoma hosted Luka Frelih, president of Društvo Ljudmila — Ljubljana Digital Media Lab, for a week-long knowledge exchange residency at our rural site in Haloze.

Activities included strategic consultation on developing Rizoma's artist-in-residence programme, hacklab infrastructure planning, and hands-on technical experimentation — including work on Luka's ultrasound cracklebox synth instrument and experimental sound sessions around the campfire.

As a lasting outcome of the exchange, Ljudmila donated a geodesic dome to Rizoma, expanding the site's capacity for hosting workshops, performances and gatherings.
