Lineup
Karmen Ponikvar
Karmen Ponikvar is a Slovene sound artist, listener and researcher engaged with vulnerable, interconnected presences and the intimacy found within the unresolved boundaries of listening. Her work attends to fragile sonic gestures and the richness of tiny ephemeral details. Working with field recordings, analog synthesis, digital processing and acoustic instrumentation, she creates electroacoustic compositions, performances and soundwalks. These emerge as forms of correspondence, where recorded and constructed fuse in a play of mutations, imitations and inversions. Her practice extends into collaborative work with artists across video, installation and dance. Karmen is currently studying at the Institute of Sonology in The Hague. Her work has been presented at Ars Electronica, TO)pot Festival, Iannis Xenakis Festival and GRM Acousmonium, among others. She will premiere pieces from the new Kamizdat release Murni for the first time.

ILKAMA
ILKAMA is the solo project of Norwegian electronic musician and producer Vilde Ilkama Nupen. ILKAMA's music is characterised by a fondness for found sound and field recordings, off-kilter beats, analogue synths, cassette tape and nostalgia. Sonically, ILKAMA draws inspiration from future soul, LA Beat, hip hop, R&B, ambient, electroacoustic music, UK Garage, glitch, drum'n'bass and pop. With a love for all kinds of music and a collector's mindset she brings everything she likes with her into her own sonic expression, including samples of people, objects and places that are dear to her heart. She has released three albums and one EP, is an avid remixer, and is active as a composer and sound designer in the performing arts. Aside from making music, Vilde has spent years initiating and building up important recruiting platforms for women, trans and non-binary music producers in Norway.

About Kamizdat Rentgen
Kamizdat Rentgen is a glance under the surface of the skin, a look into the fleshy entwinement of bones, muscles and nerves that shape the heterogeneity of the sound bodies. It is a series of music events organised by Kamizdat to increase the visibility of adventurous music makers who dare to venture into territories where no one has been before. The events are often closely connected with the label's new releases.
